How long is a Grand Prix in go karting?
45 minutes
Race round any of our tracks with your group exclusively in a Grand Prix style race format for 45 minutes instead of 30! That’s a 15 minute practise, 15 minute qualifying and then a 15 minute grid-start race, followed by a trophy presentation for the top 3 drivers.

Can you go go karting without a driving Licence?
Nope – at most tracks a licence is not necessary. What do I need to bring? The track should provide all of the necessary equipment. This will include a safety suit, helmet, gloves etc.

Weight makes a difference in a kart. Although most of your speed will come from driving talent, heavier drivers are generally at a disadvantage as the engine is having to work harder to pull the combined weight of you and your kart out of the corners.
