How do I use Moodle gradebook?

Click the gear menu, and then click Gradebook setup. Click the [Add category] button at the bottom of the screen. Configure settings for this particular category: Give the category a name (e.g., Exams, Quizzes, Labs).

  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save and display.

Can Moodle detect copy paste?

If you have an exam outside of the Testing Centre, and would like to allow students to copy/paste content into a Moodle quiz, you will have to adjust the security settings. The default security is ‘Full screen pop-up with some JaveScript security’ and will prevent students from being able to copy/paste into a quiz.
